2020…How I Remember It
A year that caught everyone off guard
2020 was a scary year for the world.
Covid-19 exploded at the beginning of the year and took over the world, causing many to die from it. The fear of dying from Covid became real for many (and still exists today).
I know for myself, every time I felt like I was getting sick, I would run to Google and type ‘’signs that you’re getting Covid’’ to see if I did get Covid.
Thankfully, I never had breathing problems or other extreme symptoms. I sympathize with those that did have those symptoms and that caught Covid-19.
Then later in the summer of 2020, protests and riots broke out all over the world, after the brutal death of George Floyd. It felt like a movie watching various Youtube videos of protesters/riots. Even places like Greece and Australia protested.
That blew my mind. It was unreal.
A riot even broke out here in San Antonio, Texas. But the police put an end to it very quickly.
It was sad when the news came out about Officer, David Dorn being killed in Missouri. When I saw a photo of him, it felt like I was looking at my grandfather (my dad’s dad). Hearing about his death really affected me and I never knew the man.
