5 Signs That You’re Talking To A Romance Scammer

It’s becoming clear that these romance scams aren’t going away anytime soon.

The hits just keep coming with potential victims looking for love or companionship online, only to come away with more problems, confusion, trust issues, and heartbreak than ever before.

There’s an online article about a St. Louis woman in her 60s who lost $1.2 million dollars after falling in love with someone who she thought was real online. I feel for the lady. I couldn’t stomach losing that much to a romance scammer online. I would go scorched Earth!

The good news — is that two men in Texas Rotimi Oladimeji and Olumide Akinrinmade were charged with mail, wire fraud, and identity theft related to this St. Louis case.

More than 32,000 incidents of romance scams are reported to the Federal Trade Commission last year.
