An Unusual Case In Judge Watson’s Courtroom
Welcome back to work, Watson
After a weekend off, Judge Watson felt recharged as he entered his courtroom on a cloudy Monday. He saw his speaker, Lucille Bonnie sitting down in her usual seat, typing on her laptop, as well as several other people sitting in various seats.
‘’Lucille, good morning. How are your kids?’’
‘’They’re a headache as usual, but overall, they’re good headaches.’’
‘’Good! I’m glad to hear it.’’
‘’How were your days off, Ryan?’’
‘’Ugh, too short. I didn’t spend enough time in front of my laptop.’’
‘’Hang in there, you’ll be on a long vacation before you know it.’’
Watson nodded his head in agreement with Lucille’s words.
‘’All right. Bring in the person who’s on trial today.’’
The two guards at the door opened them for the person to walk in. A tall slim person with wireless earphones in his ears walked into the courtroom while dancing to the music he was listening to.
Judge Watson and Lucille tried their best to contain their chuckles and remain professional.
‘’Guards, could you please take those earphones out of the man’s ear.’’
