I Thought Aliens Would Attack Earth After Seeing The Movie Independence Day
True story
When I think of July 4th, the 1996 movie Independence Day always comes to mind when this day comes. It was the first thing I saw Will Smith in. I remember watching a little of The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air, but, I don’t remember seeing him on that show at that time. It was the second movie I saw Jeff Goldblum in (the first one was Jurassic Park).
One day, my parents got the movie from a movie store nearby, where we lived back in June 1997. The movie was on two VHS tapes (I miss those). My whole family would watch the movie together in the living room.
The movie got off to a really good start, with every character trying to figure out what’s going on or how to deal with these aliens coming to Earth. When it got to the part, where the aliens attacked major cities all over the world, my eight-year-old eyes were amazed, by the alien blast taking out those buildings and people in its path.
