It’s A Terrible Time To Be A Famous Person

Last week, I watched Dave Chappelle's monologue on Saturday Night Live on YouTube. As usual, he brought up many strong points about many recent events through his humor and storytelling ability. He even mentioned the actor, Reginald Johnson, who played Carl Winslow on Family Matters (poor Carl Winslow).
But out of everything in the monologue, he said something that’s been on my (and probably others) mind for a while.
Being famous doesn’t look fun anymore.
Maybe it never was and the illusion that was over my eyes for so long has finally evaporated. I’m not sure how other continents/countries are with famous people (though I would love to know how), here in the United States, there’s been a wave of everyday people letting their dislike for famous people be known on the internet, especially on YouTube.
Like what Dave saw online with various LA wildfire YouTube videos and celebrities expressing their grief and heartfelt thoughts, I saw a lot of hostile responses in the comment section.
The usual comments I saw were: ‘‘Who cares about celebrities’’,
or
‘‘I don’t care about celebrities, I care about non-celebrities who lost their homes in the…
