Have you ever watched your favorite tv show (or shows) and thought ‘’I wish I was a part of that world?’’. What if you had that chance to be a part of your favorite shows?

The 1998 movie, Pleasantville does a good job of answering these questions.

Pleasantville was a movie I wanted to see when it came out in 98. An amazing trailer I saw of it in another movie made me want to see it. But my parents never picked it up at the movie store that they would always go to. So I never got to see it then when I was a kid.

The incredible trailer I saw then kept the movie in my mind — until I finally got to see it.

When I finished watching it two weeks ago, I thought to myself ‘’This movie is special’’.

Pleasantville is about two teenagers David and Jennifer. Jennifer is an outgoing teen, while her brother, David is more reserved & loves the 1950s show, Pleasantville.

One day, the two teens end up in the TV show Pleasantville thanks to a mysterious old man who’s in their neighborhood and tries to help them out with their remote control problem.

David and Jennifer can’t believe they’re in this black-and-white world that is Pleasantville. At first, everything runs smoothly in Pleasantville…
