My First Book Is On The Way
Enter the court…Film Court
Greetings, Mediumites. I’ve been waiting on this day for a while now, to share ‘the news’. I’m beyond excited to share that my first book, Film Court, will be released in early December.
When I started on this book five years ago, the thought of writing a book was so exciting, but I also couldn’t stop thinking about the long road that was ahead in putting it together.
But seeing/learning about other incredible writers (like Nevena Pascaleva, Dranéa, and Scarlet Ibis James 🦩) here on Medium — who either had just completed a book recently or already had books completed inspired me to finish the mission.
I thought writing and editing the book was tough, formatting the book was a different beast altogether.
Making the book cover fit for Amazon to approve was a chore for a while too.
“No, G, your book cover is too wide to be approved.”
“No, G, you’re too big to fit inside your book. You need to make yourself shrink to fit inside and be approved.”
Nevertheless, I’m happy to have gone through the fire and finally finished this thing. Whew!
