Red One Is A Creative Spin On Christmas & Santa Claus
It’s a good movie just in time for Christmas
Yesterday, I watched the 2024 American Christmas movie, Red One for the first time. I’m watching it again, for the fourth time as I type this.
I love this movie!
This movie has been advertised quite a bit in recent weeks. But when I saw a trailer of it last week before seeing Gladiator II (which was better than I thought it would be) in theaters, I became curious to check it out. Yesterday was finally that day, and I’m glad I did.
Red One is an exciting, action-packed Christmas movie that is entertaining and heartwarming.
There were so many things I loved about this movie. Dwayne Johnson (It took me forever to get used to The Rock’s real name) and Chris ‘’Captain America’’ Evans make a great duo and play off of each other really well.
Dwayne Johnson plays Callum Drift, the head of security for St. Nick. Callum has been looking out for Santa for a very long time. There’s a deal of great respect Callum has for Santa Claus.
But this holiday season, Callum’s spirit is down because of the many people who are on ‘the naughty list’ and take pride in their naughtiness (especially adults). Because of this depressing fact…
