Road Danger
Two hours ago, my work shift comes to an end. I already thinking about what I wanted for dinner, which was CEREAL. ‘’What kind of cereal, Gerald?’’ I’m glad you asked. Cinnamon Toast Crunch!
I still had plenty at my apartment, but, the milk was low the last time I’ve got some, and I didn’t want to take the chance going home and not having enough milk to quench my cereal taste.
So, I went to the CVS Pharmacy store nearby my apartment. I’m cruising on the road that will lead me to the place. When I reach the street that will lead me to CVS, I see a large Fire Engine that’s almost in the middle of the street. I’m wondering in my head ‘’What’s going up here?’’
I wait for the light to turn green to find out while I reached my destination.
The light shifts from red to green. The four vehicles in front of me take off to beat the yellow & red light. I follow suit behind the vehicles — so that the light doesn’t catch me. Oh no!
The light turns yellow before I turn out into the street, I go anyway, trying to glide with the vehicle train in front of me. The light turns red before my entire car makes it out of the middle of the road.
I make it nevertheless. I turn into CVS Pharmacy. As I drive around to find a parting soft, I get a full vision of the major car crash that was in front of my eyes from afar.
