Some Thoughts On The First Presidental….Something

Okay

Well, that was fun. Did anyone enjoy the show that just took place? I certainly did. It was a treat watching both Presidential Titans Donald ‘’I like to riff’’ Trump and Joe Hiden debating on stage and outwitting each other on who will take the crown in tonight’s debate. I was on the edge of my seat.

This was like a seven-game series of the NBA Finals, only it wasn't. It wasn’t even close to those things that they call a debate. It was a trainwreck of epic proportions with one man eager to drive the train into a building while the other one couldn’t stop the relentless train (though he tried).

Honestly, I wasn’t even going to watch the debate tonight. I didn't even know about it until my friend Rose texted me the following words. ‘’Are you going to watch the Presidental Debate tonight?’’ For some reason, that question triggered me into looking into it. And I’m so glad that I did. That was some amazing entertainment!

Thanks, Rose!

President Trump clearly wanted to control the show (like he always does). It’s his way or no way at all. That man just refuses to be denied. It’s funny frightening to see at the same time. I do wish Biden would have powered himself into the debate more. At the same time, it can be tough trying to when Trump goes into riff mode.

And the moderator was having a hard time seizing control of this debate. At times, it felt he was also a Presidental candidate going at both Trump and Biden.

Overall, if you wanted to see a great show, the Presidental Debate tonight was perfect for you to watch. I’m even tempted to give this debate several Oscar nominations, it was that great of a movie. However, if you wanted to get a better understanding of the two candidates? This debate wasn’t it. Not even close.

I don’t feel like I got any insight on these two men. Maybe that was the plan all along tonight.

A lot of people are tearing this debate apart, and, they're right to do so because the everyday people here in America and other countries deserved better than what they saw tonight.

In the meantime, I can’t wait for the next debate. That one outta be good. Hopefully, both candidates will inspire people more and give them hope. If not, hopefully, it’ll be more in control at least.
