“Texas Never Gets Cold"

I like to start this one off by hoping everyone had a great Thanksgiving with your family, friends, or by yourself — even if you don’t celebrate the holiday, which I completely understand — due to the dark history, you can look at it as being Thankful for the people in your life who brings you joy, and that makes life worth living.

I just had my third round of Thanksgiving food, the food still tasted good to me! The Stuffing with ‘’the sauce’’, the Macaroni & Cheese, the Turkey & Mixed Vegetables is a great combo! The only thing that was missing was the Yams. It’s alright though, we still have Christmas on the way.

I had tried writing yesterday (just to keep my writing rhythm) for an hour before finally giving up. Some days, we just don’t have it writing-wise, plus, it doesn’t hurt to take a break and allow ourselves to recharge before writing again.

During this time of year, the temperatures are starting to drop all across the United States — even in the hot state of Texas.

The ‘’Texas never gets cold’’ statement is nonsense.

I’ve heard it several times over the years during my time here in San Antonio, Texas, and, I still don’t understand why? Maybe the Texans I’ve heard say this has a different standard of freezing that I’m not aware of.
