… worked with showed me a trick with the trash. She would take the full trash bag out and tie it up, then she would place a whole roll of trash bags in the bottom of the can and put a new bag in on top. That way she wouldn’t have to go looking for the bags every time a trash can needed to be emptied. I still use this trick in my home today.

That's great! I was also taught this when I used to have jobs as a housekeeper. It helps having that roll inside the trashcan to get to the bags quicker.
