The Homeless Problem Is Out Of Control

This homeless issue seems like it’s been around since the beginning of time.

With the way things are going in America, a lot of us may need to start mentally preparing ourselves to join the homeless collective real soon — with how dire events are getting.

Job places aren’t giving raises, and rent keeps climbing up to astronomical numbers. 900…1,000 for a studio or one-bedroom apartment is asinine!

This is why I don’t look down on those who live with their parents. I know how tough it is to become a butterfly and get your own nest.

A few days ago, I have heard some of my co-workers on the job talk about Philadelphia, and the state it was in with the homeless. So, I became curious — and wanted to learn a little more about what was going on in Philadelphia.

According to Know Homelessness, about 5,700 are said to be homeless in the city, which includes 950 who aren’t in a shelter. Philadelphia has the lowest number of street homeless of the larger cities in America. The numbers weren’t as high as I imagined. Still, homeless people anywhere is a problem.

On the World Population Review website, over half a million people are experiencing homeless. The top four causes of homelessness are lack of Affordable Housing, Unemployment, Poverty & Low Wages. 66.7% of…
