A fun movie ride
My sister told me about this movie Thursday; when we were chatting on Facebook Messenger, and I’m so glad she did. This was a good recommendation by her. I saw this movie yesterday on Netflix. It’s really good! The title of this movie alone is brilliant. The Man From Toronto.
I have to hand it to Kevin Hart for this one.
He plays a struggling entrepreneur named Teddy who ends up getting mistaken for ‘’The Man From Toronto’’. Woody Harrelson plays ‘’the man from Toronto’’ and absolutely kills it in this role! He’s a well-known assassin who’s really good at interrogating and getting information from his targets. He’s a scary guy that you don’t want to get on his bad side.
Poor Teddy ends up in the wrong place at the wrong time. He gets trapped in an assignment that ‘’the man from Toronto’’ was supposed to do, by bad guys who think he’s ‘’the man from Toronto’’. Somehow, by his motormouth, he succeeds in getting the poor captive to talk — and gives him the information that is needed — to the bad guys that are in the room —…
