The Math Troubles Of My Past

There was a time when I used to love studying Mathematics. Those days have been gone for a long time now. I’m grateful for the math lessons I was able to get to stick inside my head because there wasn’t a lot of math teaching that made a strong impression on my brain.

From Kindergarten to 2nd grade, math was fun to learn. I really enjoyed learning numbers and counting was a joy to do. Learning numbers starting from 1 to infinity was just a blast to learn because of the playful atmosphere during those grades for me. Plus, it’s important for every human being & animal to be able to count and know their numbers. Checkmate there!

Addition, Subtraction & Multiplication

Now the real fun begins with learning how to add numbers together. Adding was a thrill to learn in class. It was so great doing addition homework learning how to add math problems like 6 plus 6 equals 12 and numerous other problems to make the brain have a strong memory on adding.

Once I got a great grip on adding, then came Subtraction. You learned that Subtraction is taking away numbers instead of piling more numbers. Instead of seeing this + symbol, you see this one — . Seven minus four equals three. Oh wow! This isn’t bad! There’s nothing to this math subject! If math is like this forever, this will be a smooth ride until I…
