The Niche Problem With Me

For a while, I used to read A LOT of articles on how to get success on Medium, and one solution that came up frequently was to find a niche, stick to that niche and success would be yours on here.
I’m paraphrasing, so feel free to correct me on this readers. It sounds like the goal is to find a specific topic (let’s say dating/romantic relationships) — and just focus on that subject forever and ever…Amen. After that major step, you can watch your page skyrocket to the stars. That’s honestly not a bad strategy. It seems to be working for lots of well-known writers here.
The issue with me on this is that I’ve yet to find a subject I would like to touch on in every post I load up on Medium.
I mean I could talk about NBA basketball all the time here. I love the sport and I feel a heavy passion for it. History would be a great niche to lock me in, I have an equally strong love for it, Or, just focus on those two subjects for the remainder of my Medium life.
But honestly, that wouldn’t be too much fun for me just focusing on one or two subjects for every post. It would feel like I would be limiting myself or putting a…
