The Unfinished Road

Still driving forward

Here I am

On this incomplete road again

Driving with an invisible high

And my eyes looking towards the skies

Although, for most of the day

The ground fought hard for my vision & moody indecision

The gorgeous orange sunset stood tall with another victory

Another day has been won

But times are changing (again)

The energy on the incomplete road is different

Other road warriors around me feel sad or indifferent

They desperately crave more

More gain, peace of mind and joy

Inside their minds and hearts

On this inconsistent road

With so much road revealed so far

Through life and a lot of relentless fight

We thought the rest would be revealed easily

To show us the rest of the path

Like a world map in social studies

Should we try another road nearby?

Where the stars above look down with glee
