Private 1st Class Tim Wannamaker was really nervous about the mission he was on. The Captain of the Whirlpool Infantry gave him the daunting task of taking out a small squad of soldiers in brown uniforms.

Intel reported that these strange soldiers had unusual bullets that had never been seen before in combat. The Captain gave Wannamaker the assignment because he trusted him the most out of all the men he had in his squad even the inconsistent Sarge.

Wannamaker could barely stand with his legs shaking every second while walking on the ground that felt like it had wood under the dirt. ‘’I should have got myself thrown into military prison, I don’t want to die today’’ he said to himself. He kept walking toward the small camp with his ancient-looking rifle.

He heard sounds that he didn’t want to hear, he was getting close to his destination. Wannamaker started to hum one of his favorite songs. It was by the group Foster The People. ‘’Don’t stop, don’t stop’’ he mumbled. His confidence started to rise up again. He started to jog. He was feeling himself. The song had his spirits up as he approach his destination.

He got low upon the sizzling camp. A strong smell came upon him. ‘’What are they doing in there? Frying a Steak?’’ he wondered. He would have plenty of time to find out after he killed the men in that camp. He was up against the gray wall getting his composure. After laying low for a while, he eases his head up to get a good look inside the camp.

Wannamaker saw two weirdly looking men walking in different directions. One was walking towards the left and the other one towards the right of the camp. The soldier on the left was perfect for Wannamaker’s first kill. Wannamaker had a good look, he just needed to take the shots to end the man.

He took five deep breaths before he decided to fire. ‘’One…two….three…..four….FIVE!’’. Wannamaker rise up and pointed his weapon. Before he fired, he felt something get hit on his body. A sniper from above fired a clean shot at Wannamaker. That shot hit his right arm. Then another shot came in the same direction…his right arm again, and then, several more were giving his right arm major grief.

Somehow he kept standing and trying to fire back at his targets despite his arm being critically wounded.

The hamburger grease was a major pain as Tim was cooking four hamburger patties in a big pan. “Ouch ouch ouch, I need to turn this stove down,’’ he said to himself. The grease was still giving him fits just lighting his arm up like the sky on Fourth Of July. ‘’Babe, you okay in there’’? asked his girlfriend Cecilia. Yeah, this hamburger grease is taking me out in the kitchen, just the usual.

Cecilia laughed in the living room while watching CBS News New York. ‘’Oh okay, it smells good, I can’t wait to eat,’’ said Cecilia. ‘’Oh, you’ll be eating really soon, you’ll be eating crusty burgers for dinner’’ replied Tim. ‘’Are you being for real? You better have not burnt those burgers!’’ yelled Cecilia. ‘’Nope, I’m just messing with you... love. They’re done now, just gotta let them cool down a little bit now’’ said Tim.

‘’Oh, good’’ said Cecilia. Tim had forgotten how powerful hamburger grease was — since he hadn’t cooked hamburger patties in a while. Tonight was a great reminder for him, one he wouldn’t be forgetting anytime soon.
