The word has been out for a while now on the passing of Stephen “tWitch’’ Boss.

When I saw an image of the man and his birth/death date, he looked familiar to me. But I couldn’t figure out where I had seen him before. It was when I found out he was the husband of Allison Holker, that it clicked for me.

Two years ago, I used to see Instagram videos with him and his wife, Allison tearing it up with their dancing. Somehow, I stumbled onto a video with the two doing what looked like the lean with it, rock with it dance. I was blown away by their talent. It made me want to join in on the fun.

I would watch a couple more videos they did. And then they would fade out of my consciousness.

Life always surprises us.

One minute you’re having the time of your life with loved ones. Then the next minute, we hear about you being dead.

Sadly, Stephen is just another guy that joins the ranks of many black men who have died before their time. It is alarming the number of productive black men (celebrities and the everyday man) that’s died early in life in the past two decades.
