Ah, November

Once again, our journey together is almost over

But, you’ve been a very good soldier

Like a night deer,

You snuck up on me this year

In the past, I would have embraced you with open arms

But with the increasing speed of time in recent years, I wasn’t ready for your alarm

You brought a lot of gray clouds to keep us company

Did you have to bring so many?

I almost forgot what the sun looked like

A few more days of grey would have had me catch a long flight

Thank you again for the excitement of thanksgiving food

It put everyone I know in a wonderful mood

On Thanksgiving day, I needed to share

The positive vibes I had in the air

In a few days

We’ll go our separate ways

But, there’s no sadness here

Only hope and lots of cheer

Until we cross paths next time

I leave you with this rhyme
