A huge wildfire was burning near a north California town. The fire had been terrorizing Californian citizens for days now. Many residents had left the town days ago, while the rest remained, hoping the fire would go away or that firefighters could eventually take the fire out.

The High family was a part of the group that remained in the California town. The wildfire being near their home made Ron High extremely worried. He knew he would have to a decision soon if the firefighters couldn’t eliminate the fire.

The day the wildfire reached his home. Ron and his wife, Jan knew it was time to leave their home and go to a safer location with their three children. They could feel the fire closing in on their small pale home.

Before they took their next action, they heard a heavy knock on their door. Ron immediately ran to the door to see who it was. Ron peeked through the door and saw it was a firewoman looking around while other firefighters ran to the homes nearby.

Ron opened the door.

‘’Hello sir, you and everyone else need to leave your home. This fire will destroy it in minutes.’’, said the firewoman.

‘’Okay, we’ll leave. Kids, let go!’’, said Ron.
