Who’s That John Peeking Out The Window?
John has his eyes on his target
27-year-old Lacey Jenkins was the newest tenant who moved into Timberwoods Apartments four weeks ago. She was happy to have escaped the cold of Colorado Springs and felt embraced by the warm weather in Mercury, Texas.
John Charger, the 46-year-old longtime tenant of Timberwoods Apartments, had seen Lacey from afar with his possessive eyes outside and inside his apartment at various windows, but Lacey never saw John. One Friday afternoon, Lacey headed to the mailroom in white shorts and a black shirt with the word Colorado.
Surprisingly, when arriving at her mailbox, she learned she had no mail inside.
She slowly walked back to her apartment building on a partly cloudy day. Her carefree demeanor suggested that she was in a decent place in life. Lacey walked towards apartment building eight.
While she walked lost in her own thoughts, John looked out his living room window with laser-focused eyes, peeking through two blinds and watching Lacey walk around his apartment building from above on the second floor.
He kept his eyes on her until she disappeared out of his vision. John quickly went to his kitchen and grabbed a sharp object near the sink before putting on his black shoes in his living room…
